Stylish wooden bowls with a sea theme, made from sustainable mango wood in three sizes, 30cm large bowl, 25cm medium bowl and 9.5cm snack bowls.

The manufacturer specialises in working with mango wood and applying Decal designs to the wooden products. Nicole has produced a range of nautical themed designs in shades of blue on white that have been applied to the interior of bowls, servers, platters, coasters and chopping boards. Our supplier is third generation with the family owned business dating back to 1953. Most of the production is produced in house supported with a little out-sourcing. Decal is the process by which our designs via a special non-absorbent (decal) paper, have been transferred onto pre-enamelled Mango wood. The finish is durable and reasonably tough. The product is food safe. For cleaning the decal surface should be given the briefest of hand washes in warm soapy water. The product is not dish washer proof. The mango wood can be maintained with a little application of olive or sunflower oil. The mango wood is sourced from sustainable production, where stock is constantly replaced. Mangos trees cease bearing fruit after 15 to 20 years, at which point here are felled and sold to timber merchants
